Dynamite Return Policy: 30 Days, Free In-Store Exchanges, and Refunds Within 10 Business Days
Dynamite’s return policy gives you 30 days from the purchase date to return eligible items, whether you bought online or in store. Online orders can go back by mail or in store, while in-store purchases can only go back in store — and exchanges, for any purchase, happen in store only, free, for a different size, color or style.
The refund timeline is clearly published: refunds are issued within 10 business days after Dynamite receives the returned items, using your original method of payment, with card refunds appearing on your statement 3 to 5 business days after processing. This guide covers the one-label-per-order rule, the final-sale list, the gift-order split, and the mail fee that took effect on 31 October 2026.

How to Return an Item to Dynamite
- Check the 30 days from the purchase date in your order confirmation email. Dynamite counts from purchase, not delivery, so the date on the confirmation email is your deadline. If your order shipped in several parcels, wait until every package has arrived before you submit the return.
- Check the item is eligible. It must be unworn, unused and unwashed, with its original price tags attached, including the non-return tag on selected items. Shoes must be intact and in original condition, with their protective film where applicable.
- For a mail return, generate your prepaid label. Find your order, select the eligible items, and print the prepaid return label. Only one label is permitted per order, and duplicate labels are refused by most carriers — so return everything together.
- Package and drop off. Affix the label to your parcel, preferably in the original packaging, and drop it off. Once the warehouse has processed the return, which can take up to 10 business days, you receive a confirmation email.
- For an in-store return, bring the item and your proof of purchase. Take eligible items in their original condition, with your order confirmation email or receipt, to any store location. In-store returns and exchanges are always free.
- For an exchange, go to a store. Online exchanges are not currently available, so even an online purchase must be exchanged in person, within 30 days, with the original receipt.
How Long Do You Have to Return Items to Dynamite?
The window is 30 days from the purchase date, and Dynamite repeats that anchor in both its return policy and its terms: the order must have been placed within the last 30 days, a date you can find in your order confirmation email. Because the clock runs from purchase rather than delivery, a slow shipment eats into your window — check the contents as soon as the parcel lands and decide quickly.
The condition standard is the usual fashion-retail trio, stated plainly: unworn, unused and unwashed, with original price tags attached, including the non-return tag that selected items carry. Shoes get an extra condition: intact shoes can only be returned or exchanged if they are in original condition with their protective film where applicable. Try shoes on indoors, keep the film on, and keep the tags attached until you are sure.
One procedural rule is easy to break by accident. Only one return label is permitted per order, and if your order shipped in multiple shipments you must wait until all packages arrive before submitting. If you have already returned part of an order, the remaining items can still be returned in store — so a split shipment does not strand the second parcel, it just changes the route.
What Does Returning Cost at Dynamite?
In store, nothing. In-store returns and exchanges are always free, for online and in-store purchases alike. If a Dynamite store is within reach, it is the cheapest and fastest route, and it is also the only exchange route.
By mail, the published fee position changed recently. A $4.99 CAD return fee is deducted from the final refund total for online orders placed on or after 31 October 2026, and orders placed before that date are exempt. The fee is stated in Canadian dollars on the policy page as read, and this guide states it exactly that way rather than converting it. If a fee is charged on an exempt order, Dynamite states you can expect to see a refund of the charge within 3 to 5 business days.
Shipping charges on the original order are not refundable in any case. Dynamite states that shipping charges, including sales taxes on shipping charges, are not refundable on mail or in-store returns. The refund covers the merchandise, not the delivery.
Can You Exchange Instead of Returning?
Yes, and Dynamite’s exchange offer is generous — within its one limit. You can exchange items for a different size, color, or style for free at any store location within 30 days of purchase. Bring the merchandise with proof of purchase (invoice) within the 30 days; exchanges cannot be processed without original receipts, and every item must meet the eligibility requirements.
The limit is the channel. Online exchanges are not currently available. Exchanges can only be done in store, including for items purchased online. That means an online shopper who needs a different size must visit a store to swap, or return by mail for a refund and place a new order. If you live far from a store, the mail-return-plus-reorder route is the realistic exchange, with the refund timing below in mind.
In-store purchases follow the same in-store rule, and Save The Sale orders — placed in store but shipped to you — must also be returned in store and are not eligible for mail-in returns. If customer service needs to address a concern with a Save The Sale purchase, such as damage or an incorrect or missing item, and your original payment was cash or debit, the refund is provided as an electronic gift card.
What Can’t Be Returned to Dynamite?
The published final-sale list has three entries. Earrings cannot be returned or exchanged, for hygiene reasons. Clearance products in the sale section with “Final sale” in the product name cannot be returned or exchanged — note the precision: it is the “Final sale” wording in the product name that marks the item, not simply being on sale. And gift cards and e-gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged.
Beyond those categories, the condition rules exclude items that are worn, used, washed, or missing their tags, and shoes that are no longer intact or have lost their protective film. A garment that still has its security tag attached is a separate case: contact customer service with a clear photo of the security tag on the garment, and they will assist, rather than sending it back unannounced.
Defective items are handled on their own track. If you consider a product defective, bring the merchandise in store or email customerservice@dynamiteclothing.com with a clear photo of the defective item, including the price tag information, and your order number. Customer service assesses the defect and advises the best available resolution, including whether to dispose of or return the item.
How Are Refunds Issued and How Long Do They Take?
Refunds are issued within 10 business days after Dynamite receives the returned items, using the same method of payment as the original purchase. Once the return is processed at the warehouse — which itself can take up to 10 business days — you receive a confirmation email, and for credit or debit purchases the refund takes a further 3 to 5 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your financial institution.
| Payment method | How the refund arrives |
|---|---|
| Credit or debit card | Same card; allow 3–5 business days after processing for it to appear on your statement |
| Gift card or e-gift card | Refunded onto the original gift card used; if you lost or discarded it, the information can be retrieved from your returns confirmation email |
| PayPal | Refunded to your PayPal account — by mail, and now also for in-store returns of online orders |
| Cash or debit on a Save The Sale concern | Electronic gift card, where customer service resolves the concern |
| Gift-marked order, recipient returning | New gift card to the recipient, not the sender’s payment method |
Gift-marked orders split by role. If you are the recipient of an order marked “This is a gift” and you return items, the refund is credited on a new gift card, not the sender’s method of payment, and recipients are not eligible for exchanges or instant refunds on credit cards. If you are the sender and you want the return, you can still get a refund on your original form of payment on request, provided all items are shipped back by mail or brought to store by you or the recipient.
Does Dynamite Extend Returns for the Holidays?
No holiday return extension is published on Dynamite’s Return Policy page as read on 4 November 2026. The standard 30 days from the purchase date applies through the holiday season, with no January deadline for December purchases in the published text.
That makes timing matter for gift buyers. A gift bought in late November and opened at Christmas may already be outside the 30 days, and the recipient’s refund route is a new gift card rather than the sender’s card in any case. If you are buying Dynamite gifts, keep the order confirmation email with the gift — it carries the purchase date that sets the deadline — and buy as close to the giving date as delivery allows.

Conclusion
Dynamite’s return policy is clear, fast, and store-centred: 30 days from purchase, free returns and exchanges in store, refunds within 10 business days to your original payment method, and a single prepaid label per mail order. Its traps are the purchase-date clock, the in-store-only exchange rule, and the final-sale wording on clearance names. Buy with the store in mind, keep the tags on until you are sure, wait for every parcel before you print a label, and a wrong size is a free swap rather than a lost sale.
